Hi Metcalf Families!
I have lots of information to share now that our new grade 2 students and families have been added to the Metcalf email list. So first let me say, WELCOME 2nd GRADERS! We can’t wait to see you once the school year begins. In the meantime I hope you’re enjoying the summer along with all our 3rd through 6th grade students! There’s nothing like sunshine, playing outside and enjoying time with family and friends to refresh and reset!
For your planning purposes I’m providing the information and links below to the Metcalf website that you may find helpful in the coming weeks. Teacher assignment letters will be sent once new registrations are processed and placement is finalized the week before school begins.
Reminder - This summer, Metcalf is partnering with Exeter and Louttit (WG) Libraries for our Summer Learning initiative. Summer Learning is about so much more than old-fashioned worksheet packets - learning happens in so many fun ways and we want all children to enjoy learning this summer! Both Library Challenges are completed at home and logged virtually and include all kinds of activities for students to earn virtual badges and possible rewards.
